Six cases registered so far in connection with the celebrations of Dahi Handi in Mumbai. Four cases registered at Kasturba, Ghatkopar, Worli and Kalachowki. In Dadar Police Station also case registered against MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande over celebration of Dahi Handi. A total of six cases have been registered so far in connection with the celebrations by people.
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said some people want to take out yatras. Central Govt has also said that the third wave of COVID-19 is expected and has asked states, through a letter, to avoid gatherings during Dahi Handi and Ganeshotsav. We should show this letter to those who want to protest. This is so unfortunate. People are organizing events and putting the life of the common man in danger.
