International Yoga Day was celebrated in Nepal on a large scale today to make people aware of Yoga.
The International Day of Yoga also celebrated in Capital Kathmandu, where Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba highlighting the message of ‘Yoga For Humanity’. Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki also took part on the occassion and encouraged all to make Yoga a part of life.
Local media report that the lighting ceremony was organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre under the Indian Mission in Nepal last evening during which a message was given to make peple aware of Yoga.
