  • Today is World Braille Day. It is being observed as 4 January. It is observed to raise awareness about the importance of Braille as a means of communication in the full realisation of the human rights for the visually impaired and partially sighted people. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of French educator Louis Braille, who invented the Braille in the year 1809.
  • The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports’ flagship programme, Fit India Movement will start a special online series titled ‘Fit India-Sunday Talks’ from this Sunday till the 26th of next month
  • Government approves National Green Hydrogen Mission to make India energy independent; also gives nod to Central Sector Broadcasting Infrastructure and Network Development Scheme.

  • Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today launched the Chief Minister’s Residential land Rights scheme (Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana) in a programme organised at the Bagaj Mata temple complex in Tikamgarh district. Chief Minister also gave land rights letters to the eligible beneficiaries of this scheme.
