Ideology and vision of Congress is no longer in sync with the aspirations of the youth

Congress spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill today quit the party. In his letter to party president Sonia Gandhi, he said, the ideology and the vision of the current decision makers of the Congress is no longer in sync with the aspirations of the youth and modern India.

Mr Shergill said, decisions were not being taken by the party in public interest and those indulging in sycophancy and ignoring ground realities dominate in the party.

Talking to media, he said, sycophancy and coterie is eating into the Indian National Congress as termites.
