Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the passing away of United Arab Emirates President and ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. He passed away today.
In a tweet today, Mr. Modi said, Sheikh Zayed was a great statesman and visionary leader under whom India-UAE relations prospered. He said, the heartfelt condolences of the people of India are with the people of UAE.

India has declared one-day state mourning tomorrow as a mark of respect to President of UAE. Union Ministry of Home Affairs said, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast tomorrow across the country on all buildings where the National Flag is flown regularly. There will be no official entertainment on the day.
