The active vacancies on the National Career Service, NCS portal has reached an all-time high of over four lakh 82 thousand indicating a boost in employment in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched this NCS portal in July 2015. The cumulative number of vacancies mobilized over the NCS portal since inception is more than one crore nine lakh. The portal is a job platform providing a variety of employment services aimed at helping qualified jobseekers to connect with potential employers for finding suitable employment.
Labour and Employment Ministry said, the top five contributing sectors is – Finance and Insurance, Operations and Support, Food Service and Catering, Health Sector and IT and Communication.
