Three killed infiring incident in a Delhi court

Three persons were shot dead in a firing incident in a Delhi court today. According to Delhi Police, a noted gangster was killed in the exchange of fire.

Police said, two assailants opened fire at the gangster in Rohini Court in North West Delhi. In a swift reaction, the Police neutralized the attackers. The incident took place when the gangster who was arrested on charges of running extortion racket was being produced in the court.

Commissioner of Police, Delhi said that the case has been transferred to Crime Branch for thorough investigation, to find out why such an incident happened.

CJI NV Ramana has expressed deep concern at the shooting in Rohini Court Complex in Delhi today. CJI spoke to Chief Justice of Delhi High Court DN Patel in this regard & advised him to talk to both Police and Bar associations to ensure that the functioning of Court isn’t affected.
