The Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has extended the last date of filling the Income tax Return by 7th of next month under sub-Section (1) of Section 139 of the Income- tax Act, for the Assessment Year 2022-23.
In a press release today, CBDT said that the extension of date has been done for the category of assesses for whom the last date is 31st of this month.
