- UNESCO-heritage listed ‘Nilgiri Mountain Train services’ have been fully resumed to the pre-Covid levels. The Southern Railway introduced unreserved compartments to the train, which is often called the toy train. The one of its kind train takes the passengers from the foothills of the Western Ghats at Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district to the popular hill resort town of Ooty in the Nilgiris.
