Uttar Pradesh created a record by administering more than 22 lakh doses of covid vaccine in a single day today. State achieved this target in a mega vaccination drive which was launched today and the numbers are still counting.
With this Uttar Pradesh also became the first State in the country to administer more than five crore COVID vaccines. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated people of State for the achievement and thanked the Central government for the support in this mega vaccination drive. He said, COVID vaccination is only security cover for the infection and everyone must take it. Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that cluster approach for the vaccination drive has resulted in the high number of vaccination.
