  • In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army Cheetah helicopter today crashed in the Baraub area of Gurez in Bandipora district. Srinagar-based PRO Defence said, the wreckage of the crashed helicopter was found in a snow-bound Gujran Nallah area.
  • Both pilot and the co-pilot were grievously injured in the crash. The co-pilot, Maj Sankalp Yadav, later succumbed to his injuries while the condition of the pilot is stated to be critical.
