Cabinet Committe on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved continuation of the revamped Centrally-sponsored scheme of Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan from the first of this month to 31 March 2026. It will be extended to all States and Union Territories of the country.
Briefing media in New Delhi, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said, this has been done to develop governance capabilities of Panchayati Raj Institutions.
