Rakhigarhi in Hisar district of Haryana has been a very important site of Harappan civilization. It is one of the largest settlement of Harappan civilization.
Talking exclusively to All India Radio News at Rakhigarhi, Joint Director General of Archaeological Survey of India Dr Sanjay Kumar Manjul said, there are seven mounds at the site and excavation is underway at Mound 1, Mound 3 and Mound 7.
