India created history as Indian men team beat 14 time Champions Indonesia by 3-0 to lift Thomas Cup Trophy in Bangkok this afternoon.

World Championships medallist Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth and world number 8 doubles duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy produced memorable performances and won the tie in first three game in their respective draws.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has congratulated Team India for winning Thomas Cup. In a tweet, Mr. Naidu said that Indian men’s badminton team displayed remarkable team work and dexterity all through the tournament. He said, the entire nation is proud of them for their historic achievement. He wished them a bright future ahead.
