Mental Health is not a destination but a process

                        
Golden Future (Public Charitable Trust) in association with IMRT Business College, Lucknow and other reputed Mental Health Organizations of Uttar Pradesh is celebrating World Mental Health Day Festival 2022 and have organized a series of events with various contests. They have invited people of various fields such as psychiatrists, psychologists, social activists, healers and spiritual leaders. Our honorable deputy chief minister Sri Brijesh Pathak Ji has been invited as the chief guest for the main event that will be on held on 1st October at IMRT Business College. 
  
The first event was successfully held on 10th of September at St. Joseph College, Ruchi Khand, Lucknow, with the help and support of the Director of the school Mr. Anil Kumar. There were more than 300 participants from around 30 schools from classes 9th to 12th, who participated in various contests such as painting, speech, essay writing and nukkad naatak. The theme of all the contests was “Make mental health and well-being for all a global priority”. Two more events will be held, one is Contest for General Public (19 years and above) and the other is the Main Event. Contest for General Public will be held on 18th September at Rama Krishna Math, Nirala Nagar from 9:00 am onwards and the Main Event is going to be held on 1st October at IMRT Business School, Gomti Nagar from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. 
 
Other than the contests, you will be witnessing cultural programs, panel discussion, take away from wellness and well being experts, food, fun activities and around 50 stalls. A workshop will also take place and around 100 professionals will take part in it. The contests will be evaluated by eight eminent judges and the top three winners will get a prize trophy and a certificate and all the remaining participants will get a participation certificate.    
 
Since Golden Future is a public charitable trust, the purpose of the festival is solely for public welfare and the events are absolutely non-profit. They are striving towards making people aware of mental health and making mental health and well-being for all a global priority. The festival is going to be very illuminating as well as interesting and it will be a great learning experience for all.
